Hey everyone, It’s August Favourites time! I know it’s a teensy bit late but I’ve been caught up in the whole excitement of getting the kids back to school and getting some shred of normality back in my life. I’m not surprised to see that my list of favourite things is pretty short for August.  I think this is a combination of it being the summer (beauty and cosmetics products always seem less for me in the heat) and it also being the school holidays and just not having the time that I usually do.  I also want to put a disclaimer out there about the photo quality.  I have no idea what has happened to my camera, but I had to run an update and since then my camera has been all over the place in terms of focusing and it's driving me mad.  I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my blog photos so it's killing me that these aren't quite up to the standard I would like!   First up is the strangest product I think I have ever used....ever! I know the weather has been awful here which is just typical when the kids are off school but we've been lucky enough to spend ten days away at my mum and dad's apartment in Spain which has been bliss. Hey everyone, It's nearly the end of June unbelievably! I'm not too worried that the month's are flying by though as I'm getting closer to my summer holiday so we are counting down the days here. The things I've been reaching for and loving this month are mainly more than one thing from a few brands so I'll get straight into it. Hey everyone, It's official!! It's Spring!! and still flipping freezing cold so my enthusiasm for the two mild days we had earlier this month has well and truly worn off! March has been a quiet month in terms of favourites for me.  Although I seem to have bought quite a few new make up and clothing items I haven't really had a chance to put them to good use.... yet! So here's a quick round-up of the few things I've been reaching for in the month of March: Nestling Oval Make Up Brushes I bought these in January and have really enjoyed using them.  I was sceptical at first and thought they were very gimmicky but they apply my foundation and concealer so effortlessly and I find them almost therapeutic to use.  I bought this set from Amazon and although I've stuck to using mainly the larger ones I am eager to try out the smaller ones for eyeshadow and highlighter. So that's it...another year is over.  I really can't believe I'm writing dates on my new 2017 calendar and getting ready for a brand new year packed full of exciting things.  2016 will always hold some really special memories for me.  It was the year I turned 40 and had the most fantastic birthday party with my amazing family and friends.  We went on a holiday that we would never have usually booked but got to see some places that I've always wanted to visit.  I watched my best friend get married in the most beautiful wedding ceremony and I also decided to start my blog! I'm so happy I took the decision to do this, it's been a lot of fun writing about things that I love and sharing my opinions with you all.  It's definitely helped me gain some confidence to enable me to do other things I would like to do this year, and my planning has started on some exciting new things!  My last two blogs to round off 2016 are goin...

It's been fairly quiet on the "favourites" front this month.  I don't feel like I've really changed much since October in terms of make up and skincare routines.  To be honest, I think Christmas and Birthdays have been taking up a lot of my time and I've resolved to be so better organised this year as I always end up in a complete flap come Christmas Eve. I am still absolutely loving the Rimmel Only 1 Matte Lipsticks and the shade High Flyer has been on my lips pretty much every day.  I won't go into too much detail about these as I did a complete blog post dedicated to them a few weeks ago which I'll link here if you'd like to have a read.
