Hey everyone and welcome to my first "Favourites" of 2017!   January is always a quiet month for me in terms of beauty products and I tend to stick with what I've been using over the last few months and try anything new I got for Christmas.  It's also a time when I really focus on my skin - whether that's my face or body so here are the things I've been reaching for in this very cold January! My Little Beauty "Moonrise" Make Up Remover Jelly I received this in the November edition of My Little Box and had been using it on and off up until Christmas.  I then finished the product I was using and thought I'd really give this a good test and I have to say I really like it.  I'd never heard of a make up remover "jelly" before but the consistency is more of a thick liquid than a jelly.  I just pop that onto my dry face and really work it in and then add a drop of water to make it lather and rinse off.  It leaves my skin feeling

Hey everyone, Happy New Year to you all! So here we are at the start of a brand new month, and the start of a brand new year.  For me, January always means trying to get organised after the stresses of Christmas, planning and expectation of what the new year will bring.  It also brings with it the excitement of a whole new year of My Little Box and believe me, this month, I am beyond excited about what arrived on my doorstep! For a start, it wasn't actually a box this month! It's a very pretty drawstring bag with a print on the front entitled "Fresh start" and a series of slogan's and motto's.  As much as I love the boxes that I've received previously, I am running out of room to store them (as they are too pretty to throw away) and I can always find use for a drawstring bag so I loved this touch.  I know the box will be back next month but I really hope these bags make another appearance at some point. Hey everyone, I wanted to round off 2016 with two last blogs about " favourites " - my favourite beauty products of 2016 and my favourite fashion items of 2016.  I will link the beauty products blog here if you would like to have a read of the round up of things I have absolutely loved over the course of the year. This one however is a bit of a strange one for me, as (and I'm sure I've mentioned it before), I hate writing the word "fashion" in any of my blogs but there's been a few events I've been to this year where I've worn an outfit that I've just fallen in love with and I really wanted to share that with you guys.  The first thing that I will always remember 2016 for is my 40th Birthday.  I had the most amazing time and was spoilt rotten but my birthday party was just the most amount of fun I think I've ever had.  For someone who has never had a birthday party for fear of no one turning up, I bit the bullet and organised one a

So that's it...another year is over.  I really can't believe I'm writing dates on my new 2017 calendar and getting ready for a brand new year packed full of exciting things.  2016 will always hold some really special memories for me.  It was the year I turned 40 and had the most fantastic birthday party with my amazing family and friends.  We went on a holiday that we would never have usually booked but got to see some places that I've always wanted to visit.  I watched my best friend get married in the most beautiful wedding ceremony and I also decided to start my blog! I'm so happy I took the decision to do this, it's been a lot of fun writing about things that I love and sharing my opinions with you all.  It's definitely helped me gain some confidence to enable me to do other things I would like to do this year, and my planning has started on some exciting new things!  My last two blogs to round off 2016 are going to be the one you're reading now -
