Hey everyone, It's nearly the end of June unbelievably! I'm not too worried that the month's are flying by though as I'm getting closer to my summer holiday so we are counting down the days here. The things I've been reaching for and loving this month are mainly more than one thing from a few brands so I'll get straight into it. Hey everyone, As we are now officially in Spring (although it's absolutely freezing when I'm writing this) I tend to start thinking about all things "bronze" in terms of my make up.  I definitely favour a more matte look in the colder months and then go all out bronze/shimmer in the warmer months.  This is also the time that cosmetic brands start bringing out their new launches for Spring and Summer to lure us into that promise of sun-soaked days and summer holidays. Hey everyone, I wanted to keep with the theme of the last blog post and do another review on a really super affordable cosmetic brand that I'm so happy I discovered.  Essence Cosmetics is owned by the German company Cosnova Beauty and is a fun, affordable range of make up that you can buy here in the UK online or in high street shop, Wilkinsons.  I personally think it's along the same lines as the Miss Sporty range and would say their branding and affordability is aimed at the teenage market. Hey everyone, Christmas seems like such a long time ago now but I wanted to do a quick blog post on a beautiful gift set I got from my brother and his girlfriend from the cosmetics brand, Model's Own. I have to admit I have never used anything from this brand before and I'm very guilty of walking past the pop-up in Bluewater or the new stand in our local Superdrug.  Another fail is I always thought they just sold nail polish! I was very wrong...... Egg Blending Sponge My first impression of this is that, in the packaging, this looks exactly like the Original Beauty Blender.  Once out of the packaging though I did notice that the feeling of this sponge is quite a lot denser than the Original Beauty Blender.  This didn't change when I ran it under water either.  Whereas the Original Beauty Blender seems to soak up the water and expand in size, the Model's Own sponge didn't change at all, which is a little weird as I think you want it...

It's been fairly quiet on the "favourites" front this month.  I don't feel like I've really changed much since October in terms of make up and skincare routines.  To be honest, I think Christmas and Birthdays have been taking up a lot of my time and I've resolved to be so better organised this year as I always end up in a complete flap come Christmas Eve. I am still absolutely loving the Rimmel Only 1 Matte Lipsticks and the shade High Flyer has been on my lips pretty much every day.  I won't go into too much detail about these as I did a complete blog post dedicated to them a few weeks ago which I'll link here if you'd like to have a read.
