I am a massive  fan of liquid lipsticks (well, any kind of lipstick to be fair), but I do tend to gravitate towards liquid lipsticks a little bit more.  I find that these can be great if you want something slightly longer lasting for a night out or if you're after a great matte lip look. I saw these Maybelline Matte Ink Liquid Lipsticks posted on Facebook (I can never remember where I see these things) and hadn't seen them before so thought I'd go and check them out.  They are priced at £9.99 but always on offer and Boots and Superdrug are both doing a 3 for 2 on all cosmetics promotion at the moment.  First of all - the shade range is huge ! Hey everyone,  As you all know by now, I LOVE the Tanya Burr cosmetics range but haven't had a chance to try too many of her products.  I bought two bargain lipsticks in Superdrug in the Spring/Summer (if you fancy giving the range a try it's worth checking for a sale as they do mark things down and my favourite pink lipstick - Central Park - was knocked down to a bargain £1.75!)I thought at the time it would be because they were being discontinued but that shade is still sold to my knowledge, so bargain hunters amongst us, keep your eyes peeled. I'm also not a huge fan of "gift sets", especially at Christmas time. Sceptical I know, but I think they just make me think of the lip palettes I used to get when I was about 12 (which I loved by the way), but now wouldn't really cut the mustard if you know what I mean. Hey everyone, As I'm writing this, I'm looking out of the window and it's grey and tipping it down and not looking very summery at all, so it feels a bit strange to be posting about "July" favourites!  We have had some nice weather though so I guess we can't complain too much. Hey everyone, I stumbled across this make up brand by accident on YouTube and it has become a little bit of an obsession since then.  I Heart Make Up is the sister brand to Make Up Revolution which is a super affordable make up range available in Superdrug.  I have tried a few of their products and have been impressed and they do great quality eyeshadow palettes in so many different colours and formulations.  Make Up Revolution are also known to be a great dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Palettes which retail at a heck of a lot more money.  That was how I found the I Heart Make Up range as their "chocolate" palettes are seen as a great dupe for the Too Faced Chocolate Palettes, which if you've followed my blog for a while, you'll know, I absolutely adore. Hey everyone, Christmas seems like such a long time ago now but I wanted to do a quick blog post on a beautiful gift set I got from my brother and his girlfriend from the cosmetics brand, Model's Own. I have to admit I have never used anything from this brand before and I'm very guilty of walking past the pop-up in Bluewater or the new stand in our local Superdrug.  Another fail is I always thought they just sold nail polish! I was very wrong...... Egg Blending Sponge My first impression of this is that, in the packaging, this looks exactly like the Original Beauty Blender.  Once out of the packaging though I did notice that the feeling of this sponge is quite a lot denser than the Original Beauty Blender.  This didn't change when I ran it under water either.  Whereas the Original Beauty Blender seems to soak up the water and expand in size, the Model's Own sponge didn't change at all, which is a little weird as I think you want it...

If you read my last blog post you will know that I picked up some new Collection Velvet Kiss Lip Creams which I was quite disappointed with.  If you'd like to read that blog before this one just so you know what I'm talking about, I'll link it here .  On the same day that I posted that blog I was looking around YouTube and came across a review for Rimmel's The Only 1 Matte Lipsticks.  These are a new collection to the already established The Only 1 Lipsticks which I haven't tried.  I have to admit I did swatch a few of the matte shades when I was in Superdrug buying the Collection Lip Creams but decided against it as I wasn't sure. I really wish I'd picked these up instead....they are absolutely amazing! They are priced at a very reasonable £4.99 and are currently on offer at Boots for Buy One Get One Half Price.  I picked mine up from Wilkinsons on a 3 for 2 offer but they were slightly higher priced at £6.98.
