Last month I did a bit of “pay-day” shopping and found myself at the L’Oreal counter in Boots.   They had their new Spring/Summer range out and I was completely sucked in by the beautiful bronze, summery theme. As everything was on 3 for 2 I picked up a huge haul and here are my thoughts after giving them a go for the last month:- Glow Mon Amour Highlighting Drops I was really unsure whether to pick this up as I couldn’t see myself using liquid highlighter on a daily basis but as it was 3 for 2 I thought “why not?”.   There are two different shade options, “Champagne” and “Bellini” and I chose Champagne just because it was more golden than Bellini which is a little more peachy/orange.   A couple of dots on the tops of my cheekbones after I’ve done my concealer and foundation and I’m good to go.   I blend it in with a beauty blender and I love, love, love the subtle sheen it gives my cheeks.    It says you can also use it alone, under found...

I am a massive  fan of liquid lipsticks (well, any kind of lipstick to be fair), but I do tend to gravitate towards liquid lipsticks a little bit more.  I find that these can be great if you want something slightly longer lasting for a night out or if you're after a great matte lip look. I saw these Maybelline Matte Ink Liquid Lipsticks posted on Facebook (I can never remember where I see these things) and hadn't seen them before so thought I'd go and check them out.  They are priced at £9.99 but always on offer and Boots and Superdrug are both doing a 3 for 2 on all cosmetics promotion at the moment.  First of all - the shade range is huge ! Maybelline have recently added around 10 more shades to the already large collection.  The original shades ranged from the classic nudes to pink, oranges, reds and plums.  They have now also added an "Un-Nudes" range which is classed as an "unconventional nude" range with purples, greys and browns. For me, nothing says relaxation like a nice hot bath and a face mask!  Just recently I have really made an effort to have a bath at least once a week and I use this time to just chill with Spotify on my phone (The Greatest Showman on repeat ), give my face a good cleanse and then pop on a face mask, lay back and.... relax ! Hey everyone, As I'm writing this, I'm looking out of the window and it's grey and tipping it down and not looking very summery at all, so it feels a bit strange to be posting about "July" favourites!  We have had some nice weather though so I guess we can't complain too much. This is a very, very short post this month as nothing much has changed in my beauty/skincare routine over the last few months at all.  For my make up I am still absolutely in love with the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream which I posted about last month (I will link that here if you want to take a more in-depth read about it) and as my skin is behaving quite well lately, I haven't felt the need to use lots of products or buy lots of new things.  I did however make a couple of little purchases last week (so cheating the "July favourite" a bit) but I did want to share them with you as I instantly loved them. Hey everyone, I'm so excited to be writing this blog post as it's a review of my very first VoxBox.  Firstly, let me just quickly explain what a "VoxBox" is.  A VoxBox is a box full of full-size products that you are sent, completely free of charge, which in turn you review and keep.  I received mine from Influenster which I have been a member of since I started my blog last year.  It's an app that allows you to post reviews on products and likewise, read reviews that people have posted.  The more you post to the app the higher your chances are of being selected for free products.  I was actually tagged via an Instagram friend for this particular campaign (thank you @bekahscrazyworld ) and I have to be honest, when I signed up I completely forgot about it and didn't think I would be in with a chance at all.  As the title says, this box is in collaboration with Max Factor.  I love Max Factor make up ...
