MONTH THREE DONE ✓ ✓ ✓ March has been a good month! The sun has been shining and I have refrained from making any purchases!  If you read my last post "Finding My Style - A New Series" you will know that I made a few purchases in February.  I will link that post here for you if you haven't read it and also my last monthly update (February) here .   I'm not sure how I've managed to stay away from temptation as I have been to the high street with my mum for birthday presents for family members and I've also been to the brand new Primark in Bluewater but managed to come away empty-handed which I'm over the moon about.  To be honest I didn't really like the Primark as it was so big and I'm not sure about you, but I really don't like shops if they are just too big! Last month I did a bit of “pay-day” shopping and found myself at the L’Oreal counter in Boots.   They had their new Spring/Summer range out and I was completely sucked in by the beautiful bronze, summery theme. As everything was on 3 for 2 I picked up a huge haul and here are my thoughts after giving them a go for the last month:- Glow Mon Amour Highlighting Drops I was really unsure whether to pick this up as I couldn’t see myself using liquid highlighter on a daily basis but as it was 3 for 2 I thought “why not?”.   There are two different shade options, “Champagne” and “Bellini” and I chose Champagne just because it was more golden than Bellini which is a little more peachy/orange.   A couple of dots on the tops of my cheekbones after I’ve done my concealer and foundation and I’m good to go.   I blend it in with a beauty blender and I love, love, love the subtle sheen it gives my cheeks.    It says you can also use it alone, under found...

Hey everyone, It’s August Favourites time! I know it’s a teensy bit late but I’ve been caught up in the whole excitement of getting the kids back to school and getting some shred of normality back in my life. I’m not surprised to see that my list of favourite things is pretty short for August.  I think this is a combination of it being the summer (beauty and cosmetics products always seem less for me in the heat) and it also being the school holidays and just not having the time that I usually do.  I also want to put a disclaimer out there about the photo quality.  I have no idea what has happened to my camera, but I had to run an update and since then my camera has been all over the place in terms of focusing and it's driving me mad.  I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my blog photos so it's killing me that these aren't quite up to the standard I would like!   First up is the strangest product I think I have ever used....ever! Hey everyone, As I'm writing this, I'm looking out of the window and it's grey and tipping it down and not looking very summery at all, so it feels a bit strange to be posting about "July" favourites!  We have had some nice weather though so I guess we can't complain too much. This is a very, very short post this month as nothing much has changed in my beauty/skincare routine over the last few months at all.  For my make up I am still absolutely in love with the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream which I posted about last month (I will link that here if you want to take a more in-depth read about it) and as my skin is behaving quite well lately, I haven't felt the need to use lots of products or buy lots of new things.  I did however make a couple of little purchases last week (so cheating the "July favourite" a bit) but I did want to share them with you as I instantly loved them.  Hey everyone, Apologies for the lateness in my review of the April My Little Box - my delivery was really late this month and I only received it a few days ago.  The name of the box this month is "Garden" and fits in perfectly with the time of year.  I love the artwork on the outside.  As My Little Box have changed things up a little this year, this is only the second box out of four and as much as I love the bags and variety of containers, I do also love the artwork that comes with having an original "box". This month it seems jam-packed and was literally bursting at the seams when I opened it up. As I've said before, I love how everything is always so nicely presented and tied up using the My Little Box ribbon.
