Review: L'Oreal Fine Flowers Skincare
Hey everyone,
I recently found myself in the skincare aisle at Boots and my attention was grabbed by this very pretty new skincare range from L'Oréal. I'm not usually a "girly" girl but I was really attracted by the pastel pink and white packaging and the scent of Rose and Jasmine is subtle, yet beautiful. It's aimed at dry and sensitive skin types but even though I have normal to combination skin, I thought they looked too good to miss trying.
There are four products in the range - Cleansing Milk, Gel-Cream Wash, Toner and Cleansing Wipes. They were all on offer so I picked up all but the wipes. Below are my thoughts on the three products I chose:-
Gel-Cream Wash
This is a rich cream/gel facial wash that can be used both in the mornings and evenings. It has a thick texture that, mixed with water, creates a soft foamy wash. The scent is lovely and it leaves my skin feeling so clean but not dry or uncomfortable.
Cleansing Milk
This bottle is huge for the price (400ml) and I think this is going to last ages. This isn't too runny and I pump two pumps onto a cotton pad and sweep it all over my face. In the mornings I do this step after using the facial wash and in the evenings it's the first thing I do to remove my make up. Described as a "nourishing make up remover" this does a great job of removing any last traces of make up (even my mascara) and sinks straight into my skin to leave it feeling really refreshed. Again, the scent is lovely, subtle and not overpowering.
Toner
This is my favourite of the three products and I think that's mainly because the smell of this seems much more intense. Although this is a liquid, the texture is slightly thicker than normal toners and will sit just on top of the cotton pad and not sink straight away like some toners do. I fold the cotton pad in half just to make sure it's absorbed and then sweep it all over my face and neck as the last in this three step routine. My skin is left feeling so clean and refreshed and smelling like Spring! Another huge 400ml bottle will see this last a very long time and I've even decanted some of this to take on holiday with me.
I love this new range. Not only does it smell so refreshing and uplifting but they leave my skin feeling nourished and hydrated both in the mornings and evenings. All of these products are currently on offer in Boots and I will leave a link to all of them down below. I would love it if L'Oréal created a moisturiser to go with this range too as I think that would be the icing on the cake.

Oh these sound right up my street! And they look so pretty! At the moment I am trying out Boots Botanics All Bright range and my all time favourites are Nivea and Simple. I will definitely treat myself to these when I next need some skincare xxx
ReplyDeleteI used to love Boots Botanics but haven't used their products in a good few years. I think I might take another look when I've finished these ones and I have the Simple Cleansing Oil which is fab but I never think to look at their skincare. Thank you for commenting - you've given me a few new ideas of things to try xxx
