Update: Lee Stafford Hair Growth Range

Image
Back around the middle of October I posted a First Impressions blog on the Lee Stafford Hair Growth Range.  If you wanted to take a quick look at it before reading this I'll put the link here . I've been using these products every day now for a full month and just wanted to give you a quick update into my thoughts and whether my opinion had changed on them at all.  The first thing I want to say is how quickly I noticed the condition of my hair changing.  I had the ends of my hair bleached in May and they were starting to look very dry and damaged.  I'd actually bought a hair dye to colour my hair back to one colour in the hope it would help but since using this range my hair has been looking and feeling so much healthier.  I am still using the Intensive Hair Conditioning Treatment every day, in between shampoo and the regular conditioner, but I think this is more to do with the fact I am slightly addicted to this stuff and don't want to stop using i...

Review: My Little Box - November 2016

Image
How can I even be writing this?? I know I say this every month but I really can't believe we are in November already and another My Little Box has landed on my doorstep. I'd seen a few spoilers this month so knew slightly what to expect when it came to the artwork on the box, but it was still beautiful to see.  The box has "Goodnight" written on the top over the backdrop of a gorgeous night sky.  I love trying to guess the theme from the name and quickly try and work out what products may be inside. First in the box is the monthly glossy My Little World mini-mag.  This is a feature in every box and I love it for a little night-time read before I go to bed.  There is also a little artwork card with a sketch on the front of a girl pulling the duvet up and closing her eyes and on the back is a little explanation as to the thought behind this month's box. The first lifestyle item I came across is an eye mask.  The quality of this...

Rimmel The Only 1 Matte Lipsticks

Image
If you read my last blog post you will know that I picked up some new Collection Velvet Kiss Lip Creams which I was quite disappointed with.  If you'd like to read that blog before this one just so you know what I'm talking about, I'll link it here .  On the same day that I posted that blog I was looking around YouTube and came across a review for Rimmel's The Only 1 Matte Lipsticks.  These are a new collection to the already established The Only 1 Lipsticks which I haven't tried.  I have to admit I did swatch a few of the matte shades when I was in Superdrug buying the Collection Lip Creams but decided against it as I wasn't sure. I really wish I'd picked these up instead....they are absolutely amazing! They are priced at a very reasonable £4.99 and are currently on offer at Boots for Buy One Get One Half Price.  I picked mine up from Wilkinsons on a 3 for 2 offer but they were slightly higher priced at £6.98. There are 9 shade...

Collection Velvet Kiss Lip Creams

Image
If you've read my previous blogs or followed my Instagram, you'll know I'm a real sucker for a lip product.  They can be lipsticks, glosses, pencils, old favourites or new launches... I find it impossible not to buy new lip products every month. I became slightly obsessed with matte lips around this time last year. I tend to stray towards glosses and balms in the summer though so am getting back on the matte lips train now and there have been some great products I've picked up over the last few months (you can read my October favourites blog here in which I talk about the Maybelline Color Drama Intense Velvet Lip Pencils). I saw a blog post for the new Collection Velvet Kiss Lip Creams last week and just had to rush out and grab some.  There are six shades in the collection but I was most interested in the red (Rosie) and the plum (Mulberry).  They weren't easy to find as my local Superdrug didn't stock any of those colours and when I went furt...

October Favourites!

Image
October has literally just flashed past before my eyes!  I have been so busy and have fallen a little behind in terms of blog posts which I'm determined to put right as of now.  So let's get straight into the things I've been reaching for over the last 31 days...... Rimmel Fix & Perfect Primer This has been the biggest surprise for me out of all the products I'm about to list.  I really dislike the feel of silicone based primers on my skin.  I'm not sure what it is, whether its because I feel they don't sink in or they feel quite slippy when I apply them but this is so different.  Think Benefit's Porefessional mixed with your favourite skin illuminator and that's the consistency. I pop this on after my moisturiser and before foundation and I love how it makes my skin feel nourished and prepped. Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream This is a repurchase of mine as it's my favourite everyday go-to face produc...
